The arrangement of traffic lights can usually be divided into the following two types:
(1) Horizontal arrangement.

(2) Vertical arrangement.
from top to bottom are red, yellow, and green lights. This method is often used on narrow roads. Arranging the signal lights in a fixed manner has two advantages: one is to put the red light signal in a prominent position; the other is to enable people with color blindness to judge the meaning of the signal by its position. The installation of signal lights over the center of the intersection shall meet the requirements of the vehicle clearance height limit.
